Another evening early weekday game

This fixture boasts a rather novel statistic we've won more times than we've lost!

Old Match Reviews

Not sure that "Looking forward to another Fulham away game" is the correct expression and given that we've been terrible home and away this season the Leicester fixture seems just another chance for hope, then humiliation.

Sound famiiar but to beat Claudio's old team at their place would at least give us a whiff of smug irony!

Frankly after witnessing the pathetic lapses of concentrayion and criminal lax surrender of possessio throughout the first half, it's a winder that we weren't 4 down at the break.

The second half with Floyd Ayité was a marked improvement. I like Floyd, ok it's debatable whether he's a fully fledged Premier League player but nobody will know unless he gets a chance, he always has a pop and is keen to go forward when he gets a chance.

This Scott Parker passage as Caretaker has shown that he's willing to give the guys who played theri part in the previous two seasons a chance is encuraging, it's a shame that Ranieri chose to isolate those guys. It's open to debate whether most of that promotion squad are at the pinnacle of Premier League level but I was dismayed to see so many of them on the sideleine. Accepted, one or two saw in the season injured but can honestly say that those that were fit couldn't have done just as well as those newcomers who seemd inked in before a game was played.

It's been good to see Kevin MacDom=nald getting a look in again too, all one can say is "bring back Stefan Johansen".

Anyway we got a lucky deflection for Floyd's goal and for a while it looked as though a draw would be the least of our rewardss but the old carelessness keeps creeping in and although I'm not singling anyone out, there atre three of four who need lining up outside the headmaster's office on Monday morning!

Our pre-match ramblings…

It's true, we've won 39 of our matches against Leicester. Losing 27 and drawing 17 makes these figures one of the happier ones against teams now playing in the top flight.
