Bearing in mind

I missed the first 3 League and the EFL Cup games

The following brief biased accounts are nicked inserts from the media with pieces from my TV watching so completely inaccurate (or more than usually so)

Aboubakar Kamara scored twice as Fulham beat League Two side Exeter to progress to the third round of the Carabao Cup.

The Frenchman put the hosts ahead in the third minute, lashing in after Grecians keeper Christy Pym could only parry Cyrus Christie's effort.

Exeter almost levelled on 15 minutes when Matt Jay hit the base of the post.

But Kamara calmly doubled the Premier League club's lead three minutes after the break after latching onto Stefan Johansen's threaded through ball.

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic made 11 changes after seeing his side register their first victory since their return to the top flight when they beat Burnley 4-2 on Sunday.

y the west Londoners, who were meeting Exeter for the first time since a fourth-tier league clash in December 1996.

his switch from Swansea, was substituted after 75 minutes but Jokanovic will have concerns over forward Neeskens Kebano, who was stretchered off with an ankle injury in the second half.

Exeter, third in League Two, had beaten Championship side Ipswich on penalties in round one but rarely threatened pulling off a second upset, although Jay had a goal ruled out for offside with six minutes left.

Pym saved well from Portuguese striker Rui Fonte and denied Johansen a third goal in the closing stages when he tipped the Norway international's free-kick onto the post.

Fulham return to Premier League action on Saturday when they travel to Brighton & Hove Albion (15:00 BST).
